NINA TARR is a skilled DJ who has solidified herself in the nightlife scene with her impressively diverse musical taste and vinyl spinning skills and residences at some of the hottest spots in Los Angeles and New York.

Nina is known for curating some of the hippest events in Los Angeles and New York, one of which was the very popular residency “All Girls, All Vinyl,” where female vinyl djs from near and far exhibited their skills on the decks to conjure a full on dance party. Nina has djed alongside the likes of Questlove, Thom Yorke, Nigel Godrich, Todd Edwards and many more. With her all vinyl selections, she incorporates a unique blend of funk, glam, afro beat, world, boogie, hip hop, new wave, electro, post-punk, kraut, disco, groove and soul. She’s developed an encompassing collection of pristine records spanning from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s to today.

Nina got her start by throwing punk shows, curating eccentric events and spinning records all over Southern California and continues to book and DJ special events that incorporate music, art, fashion and comedy. More notably, film premieres and parties for Amazon Studios, Coachella, Soho House, HBO, Warner Brothers, Hulu and Netflix, just to name a few.

Nina’s taste, knowledge and professionalism has garnered her the illustrious title of chief music curator for Soho Grand Hotel in New York City, The Roxy Hotel in Tribeca NYC and Spiegelworld’s most recent project and venue, Superfrico at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. She books and manages all of the DJs and creates the playlists that adorn these spaces, making her responsible for creating a distinctive vibe that leaves people tapping their toes and reaching for their phones to Shazam what’s playing.
